A very nice shot of this lady on the nest. Great focus and clarity; well contrasted against the blue sky. Great focus of that beady eye! They are such majestic birds.

Many of the birds o Photograph open their bills/ beaks during hot days to cool off. Nice to see a sharply focused eagle head with great eye clarity.
Nice capture of this one in the nest.
Well done Pat ;)

70° is hot for the bird huh? Wow. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of this eagle panting in the tree is great. The image is balance and eye interesting to the viewer m good eye and great job overall

A very nice shot of the eagle there! The light blue sky really accents the features of the eagle and the tree limbs really help to add depth to the picture.
Well done!

She is beautiful! I like the way the focus is clear throughout the photo. We had a bird's nest right outside my kitchen window. I took a lot of pictures sitting on top of my sink. The Robin constantly had her beak open. I knew there had to be a reason, and as you said, that's how they cool off. 70 degrees is quite cool around here. Try 95 for my little robin.

What a beauty. So nice to get a lesson in addition to a lovely shot. So interesting. I really like that you captured her in the tree, maybe sitting on her nest. ??? Well captured, Pat.

Excellent pose Pat!

At first look, I thought this Eagle was sitting there with her arms crossed, it was rather funny that pose.

But I see now how she is trying hard to keep cool. The clarity captured on her eye and beak is amazing!
