I really like the pose and the bight and dramatic colors used to show the horse. The one thing that I think is a little bit of a detractor is the light blue at the bottom right. It would have been better to have kept the oranges and those colors in the horses flank there instead. still all in all a very good water color painting.

I love horses!! I was watching the Florida Derby on TV today. I can see great detail in your painting even though it is not realistic. I don't know if that is the correct word to use. Everything looks proportionate. You have captured the essence, so well!!

You have done a wonderful job in your watercolor depiction of this horse.I love the shiny parts of his head and down his side. The horses colors are magnificent.

I like the semi-abstract expressionist style. The bold brush strokes and unusual colors are interesting. The swing of the brush strokes indicates movement and creates depth. We imagine the features of a horse. The painting is well composed and framed.

Up close, this seemed abstract. Then I looked below and found the beautiful horse bowing its head. The colors are so vivid but not overwhelming. I love the way you provided the impression of detail with such free brushstrokes. Amazing!
