Nice photograph, very tranquil look. Very good choice going with black and white, makes the shadows come alive. I can see why you hang out at Jim lake. Robert

the conversion to black and white, the lighting from dark to very bright with the frozen water surface gives a curious strange and mysterious feeling;

This picture makes me shiver. I think the b & w adds to that impact. It also has a striking geometric impact, with the edge of the ice on the right and the spiky shadows beyond. Hauntingly beautiful! Wouldn't change a thing.

    Thank you so much ! I really appreciate your review! It was 32F hereto day but the wind was blowing so it felt a lot colder!

The falling snow adds a special beauty to the sunset light and the reflections. The landscape appears serene and eternal. The photo has excellent depth and is perfectly focused, exposed and treated with mixed media. The conversation to black and white emphasizes the special atmosphere remarkably. The landscape is exquisitely framed. The composition is balanced.

Wow! I love this picture in black and white. I like how the clouds in the sky hover over the snow covered mountains. Good focus and lighting. Great composition. Nicely done.

Pat,
A very beautiful atmospheric picture of the setting sun behind the falling snow. The Black & white gives the image a very atmospheric & dramatic feel. Artistic composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

At first sight this looks like a well made graphite drawing with wonderful shades of grays! A fine mixed media presentation of a winter scene. Thanks for sharing!
