The colors in the foreground really stand out and help define depth in the subject area, the blue sky color and the white clouds really help bring out the subject area and the picture is well balanced.
Well done!

The fireweed is lovely! Good presentation showing The perseverance of life after a fire,Mother Nature starting over. A great perspective with the burnt pines and majestic mountain range,all under that beautiful bright sky.

You are so lucky to live in such a beautiful area, and your ability to capture it and share it is outstanding. Nice vibrant colors, and I like how you're following the rule of thirds here. Nice.

a great landscape capture Pat; I like the three levels with the beautiful purple pink flowers in the foreground, followed by the burned trees with the snow capped mountains in the far background;

Great looking shot of nature showing the wonderfully coloured weedflowers! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Strawberry fields forever... <3 The foreground of this photo is stunning. Fireweed you say? That's quite an ironic name for a weed that went up in flames last year.
What a beautiful weed!
That's a shame about the forest fires. Thank you so much for sharing this experience!

Pat,
A beautiful. Hillside view with the Fireweed/ Rosebay Willow Herb their flowers adding a splash of pink to the foreground behind the snow capped mountains, in-between the scorched remains of the forest that stood between the flowers & the mountains before the wildfires. White clouds floating in the blue sky. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

A very nice shot. I like the way the skeletons of the burnt trees provide a break between the fireweed in front and the hazy mountains in the back. A very good perspective with beautiful colors.

Our elders called the plant Fireweed because it emerges on burned grounds, but there seems another reason: its color. The hillside looks like it is burning again. I think the plant is one of the most beautiful gifts of nature. Your photo is excellently focused and exposed and has good depth. The contradiction of the fiery blossoms and the sky colors is enthralling. The landscape is perfectly composed and framed.
