Thank you. What a lovely review. I am on an Island opposite this place in the lockdown. It is well worth a visit. It is still natural although tourists are starting to find us.

I have a brother and sister n law who live in Prague. I told them they needed to check it out for me. I?ve traveled Europe on several occasions but never Portugal.

Prague is beautiful too. I also live part ofcthe year in Lűbeck NE Germany. It has very old buildings which Iove to paint. Portugal has for me a special uniqueness so after this lockdown if we ever get back to normal, I hope you get a chance to visit.

Thank you Lucas for a great and helpful review. There was a lone of cars on my side but I thought they would clutter the paint there were no people. Jolly is doing fine.. was a cut caused by clams but she doesn't give up swimming.

Apparently the cafe is in a historic part of town. I like the sparse, but story telling details of your creation. The crane in the background shows that there is some reconstruction in process. The colors and the trees in the foreground indicate warm climate and a southern location. The painting is well composed. Perspective and proportions are exact. The painting is well framed. The composition is balanced.

Thank you for a great review and in depth comments. This is a small city in the Algarve region and most of its buildings are like this. A couple of supermarkets andrestsurants sre modern .. inside but try and retain the character of the original architecture. The crane is building aoartments from a very old beautiful but neglected larger structure. I don't think they can save it so the apartments may turn out modern. We shall see.
