A fine shot from a great elevated perspective. I like the spacing of the players and their sharp shadows that shows the sun is practically overhead. Best of luck in the contest.

Of sorts? I'm assuming that's because they're all on the same side of the net. Certainly volleyball on the beach conjures up thoughts of the season to come. Nice timing of the ball in the air. Too bad more of them aren't in motion. Maybe try a tighter crop focused on the one who is beneath the ball?

I think YOU as the photographer were more active than half of the players! Wonderful photo! The uncluttered sand is a superb background, and the dark skin of the players makes them stand out. Glad you could capture the ball in there, too. Hope you win something in this contest. And isn't Portugal delightful? I visited there 10 years ago.
