Excellent reflection of recent times. Drawn with nice details and precision. The picture retakes tells the story of the resilience of the people, strength of communities shows in the blue eyes, and creativity by touching the face mask instead the skin on the face. Representative color selection.

I like what you have done on your art work. It really reflects what is going on today in our lives. I like the patriotic mask. Not so sure about the eraser shavings makes no difference your main goal is captured

If I understand the your drawing right you feel as vulnerably many of us reviewers who experience restrictions and quarantine at this challenging time. It also shows how we keep ourselves and our country safe under the thread of the current pandemic even when things seem to be turned upside down. Your drawing is skilfully done with excellent attention to detail. The limitation of color emphasizes the mood of your drawing. The artwork is well balanced and framed.

A timely image. I know a lady in Florida who spends her days sewing masks and donating them. Who would have thought six months ago that we would have so much time on our hands?

Hi John

Alas, the poem has come out as straight prose. I often find when that happens to me that simply re-posting the text solves the problem. I urge you to please try this as I'd love to read the poem that inspired this cool artwork. R

I just used my last six star rating! I wanted to give one to you. The poem is beautiful and so true. Like you said, it seems very real for today and the future. I like the way you used the flag as a mask. I am very concerned for our country. I truly hope the circumstances we are experiencing brings us closer to each other again. We are so divided. Thank you for this.

An interesting picture of the gentleman with a mask made of the American flag. The poem is by John Greenleaf Whittier.
The picture created by your Artist's eye for composition very skilful draftsmsnship beautiful choice blending & application of your colours in bringing the image to life.

Very fitting for the current events. Nice workmanship. I agree that the eraser shavings fit in well. This is eerie, especially the blue stare of the eyes and the angle of the eyebrows.
