Wow John! First of all it's good to see you posting again and I hope all of well with you and your family and that it remains well!
This is a perfect piece for these times, I especially appreciate that you used selective color here and that you chose to color the eyes, that is where we see the life when we look at a person. I also like that the eyes are blue.
The mask with our nations flag is also just a perfect choice! Of course, the face is well created with good shape and structure I like the eye brows too, the hand with pointer finger on the mask is also well created with realistic shape and form. Well presented John and thank you also for sharing the poem, I have seen it before but I'm at a loss as to who the author is.
