A lovely colourful painting that is very cheery majoring in the yellow tulips. A good contest entry. Tulips are so bright and a reminder of spring and summer time...when things are lighter and brighter. All the best in the contest.

thanks,,,I am still waiting for that snow to melt so I can go in my back yard to try to take photos of all the birds that are starting to come back

The expressionistic brushstrokes and unusual colors are interesting. The scenery appears surreal. Although the composition has depth, there is not realistic perspective, which is not a flaw but adds an abstract touch.

Realistic perspective means the it has depth similar to a 3D [three dimensional] look. :o)
