I love windy day pictures like this with the waves crashing on the shore! You captured the splash of the big wave on the rocks so well. The mountains in the background are lovely.

Oh yeah! I see the cowboy too!
The waves crashing into the rocks look like somewhere I would love to meditate. This is like catnip to me lol. Don't worry, I'm not a cat person ;-) lmao

not at all my kind of beach; I like a beach with no waves and fine sand where I can rest under a coconut tree; lol;
a very good stop action Pat of this impressive crashing wave;

Another great landscape shot. I love how the waves come crashing on the rocks. Sharp detail. You can see the foam from the waves on the beach. Great focus and lighting. Wonderful composition. Nicely done.

Wonderful stop action shot of the crashing waves on the rocks of Mariner Beach. I personally love blustery days at the beach and the images that can be taken. Lovely hazy, misty background with the outline of mountains and the Glacier. Your beautiful capture is clear and focused with great lighting. Great viewing Pat.

Unusual post for you! Nature being angry for a change. Something we don't see a lot of in Alaska programs /watched one last night, as someone shot a wolf which was trying to get his cattle./ Fantastic view of Alaska being wild! not as benign as usually!

    Thank you so much! I love to spend time on the beaches here, I do that more during the summer. This is 200 miles south of my home!

This is a wonderful seascape shot!.Excellent clarity. You have framed it well. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

The splash is perfectly stopped-in-action. The foam seem frozen in the air. The crashing waves are interesting. It seems the currents have saturated the waves on the right with sand. The photo is perfectly focused and exposed and has good depth. The long view over the ocean and the cloudy sky in the background are interesting. The seascape is well composed, balanced and framed.

Another beautiful composition showing your wonderful scenery. I like the splash and foam of the waves and the Glacier showing through the mist in background.
