Boy, your sure timed this perfectly, Pat. Caught that big wave just right! Perfect lighting, detail and DOF plus another excellent composition makes for one very fine photograph.

Pat,
A beautiful picture of of the waves crashing onto the beach & rocks along the waterline,. The water appears to be boiling the spray it's thrown up frozen by your fast exposure
The distance mountains on the far shore hidden behind a misty veil. A white cloud struggling to rise above them. The sea between you & the mountains it's choppy surface reflecting the sky above. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus

Hi Pat!
This is - without question - the very best Sea Scape photograph I've ever seen displayed here on FanArtReview!
And I doubt that I need to explain WHY I feel that way about it!
It's Beyond 'Outstanding; and if I could award it a higher than Six Star rating I wouldn't hesitate to do so "most rikki-tik"! ( as the troops in The Nam would have said! ) : D

I looked and looked for your cowboy and finally found him at the edge of that break in the clouds above the mountains. A beautiful scene that is beautifully captured.

Thanks so much Mike! That cowboy always shows up when I shoot this glacier. That white is the glacier behind a mist.

A very nice landscape/seascape shot posted here for us to enjoy! Your fine and traditional composition offers us a good view of your dramatic location. Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!
