Beautiful nature shot of this white swan preening itself oblivious of you taking a photo. Lovely composition and lighting which allows us to see the details of this swan's feathers, neck and beak. All the best in the Wildlife Photo contest!

A well presented photograph with excellent structure and composition with the subject filling the framework perfectly. The sharpness of your photograph has been achieved just right and the slightly blurred background works well

ofcourse with those long necks, they have to be able to bend their heads over and how gracefully they do so! Absolutely captivating curve to this beguiling long neck line. Well spotted, or waited for!

I think she had an itch that needed to be scratched. The difference in the color of her body and her neck and head is interesting. I wonder if that is the real color or if it is just dirt? The photo has great focus and lighting. The white doesn't appear to be blown out. Good job!

Very many thanks for your nice review! I believe the colour on the neck is caused by remnants of old dirt.

Cool! Oh what I wouldn't do to have a long bendy neck like that! I wouldn't leave the damn house! LMAO!
Do swans have their partners preen their necks? It looks like this Swan needs some clean TLC on it's neck. Cool capture ;-)

Love the curve of the head of your white swan as he starts to preen. Your white balance and exposure are good with excellent composition. Focus is very well done.

A nicely composed close up. I like the exposure for the white feathers and the excellent detail in the swan's face. Very nice colors. Best wishes in the contest.

Who is getting What? I guess bits the photographer getting the photo, or was it the swan getting its feathers clean? You got an interesting photo which is well focused and exposed. The colors are realistic and details are well refined, especially those of the head and neck. The pose of the bird is interesting. The swan is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.
