we have all seen this scene dozens of times and each time it is slightly different and each time it is captivating as you think of the man alone with his thoughts and water and fish, on his quest for food as it used to be and still is in Russia, where I saw them selling their buckets of freshly caught fish. This has wonderful colours in the environment and cleverly the angler wears very strong man made colours which are in total opposition to the rest of the scene.

A lovely setting. It speaks to me since recently we have all felt very isolated and alone. Great color and focus. It is alright to be alone if it is our choice and only occasionally, We all need human touch and love.
This scene definitely reflects many of us today.

Not far from where I live and walk the dogs (Ainsdale) and a place where we have walked the dogs and had the occasional pee up the side of one of Anthony Gormleys statutes on the sands of Crosby. (The dogs that is not me !!) Your presentation is good and enjoyable to view

Think this could have also beena vertical shot as well as this format, trying to see if it could be improved on,but can,t see how,the fisherman shows a connection between him and the sea, which I think is important, wonder if he caught anything...Brian

Looks like a timely break to enjoy the peace and quiet of the scene! Fine shot! The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

As he enjoys watching the sunset you have captured the moment nicely with good composition - the separation of fisherman and fishing rod gives balance to the image.

A beautiful scene that is artfully composed. I like the way both the fishing rod and the man's gaze point to the setting sun. A sharp image with great colors.

Nice peaceful shot. I like the punch of the red on the fisherman as a counterpoint to the more subtle colors in the rest of the shot. Well balanced by the angled fishing pole almost pointing to the setting sun. One suggestion: consider cloning out the object in the water.

Nik,
A beautiful picture of this Line Fisherman his rod resting against the pier's railings while he looks out towards the setting sun on fire along the distant horizon,th3 colours in the sky the reflected on the glistening surface of the rippled sea. That makes a beautiful contrasting backdrop for the Fisherman. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

I really like this one NIK. I have several of fisherman at sunset. The placement of the fisherman in the frame off to the left is nicely balanced by the angled fishing rod which points to the setting sun illuminated clouds. A very peaceful and serine scene. At this time we could all use some peace and serenity ~ Steve
