A beautiful bird that closely resembles the moorhens I see in the southern states. A well composed shot with great colors and a nice reflection.

Another unusual animal, great picture. What I like on this one is the colored background in the water - the swamp stuff and water rifts. The chicken swamp is engaged in the photo shutting session.

His cousins are doing the same thing on the River Dodder.

A beautiful picture of this busy little Moorhen swimming fast on your lake near the bank as it searches for food. It's reflection on the rippled water is an added bonus. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
His cousins are doing the same thing on the River Dodder.

We have very similar bird to these Nicely composed with good reflection as and color is very natural. A lot of vegetation floating behind the bird - well focused on eye.
