Beautiful painting for a world wide problem. One which will return over and over as time goes by. Actually, with my background, what I saw was how my mother and other mothers, smuggled babies out of the East. What ever, amazing painting!

An absolutely gorgeous work of art. Amazing color and detail. Your art and poem has touched my heart. My daughter is a doctor in upstate NY on the front line of care. I am very proud of her but also very afraid. I pray so hard for all of us.
You have captured the woman's expression beautifully showing fear as her arms display protection and strength. Really beautifully accomplished!

This is stunning! I love the way you have portrayed this "warrior" as a Madonna with the halo behind her head. Her strong arms cradle the child, while her face reflects the shock that we all feel in the midst of the chaos and horror all over the world. Thank you so much for this creation.

The woman looks like a modern Madonna protecting the Child in her arms against the eminent dangers. She is indeed a symbol for all who battle the Covid -19. The painting illustrates the poem perfectly. Her expression of fair and hope will remain in the thoughts of the reviewers for long time. Your brush strokes are clean and controlled. Perspective, proportions and shading are excellent. The artwork is expertly composed and framed.
