Fantastic portrait shot of this seagull. Details of the bird is sharp. The eye is bright and clear. The blue of the sky brings out the white of the seagull. Good focus and lighting. Great composition. Nicely done.

Bestshot of a seagull I have seen on here,good detail,wonder what dof you used,as its front of beak and back of head is just slightly out of focus,but takes nothing away from this shot,well done...Brian

What an unpleasant looking scowl that creature is giving us,Nikman!
It looks like he's just about to pluck the eye out of a helpless wounded sailor or a downed fighter pilot drifting in the tide during wartime!
I can easily understand why so many combat sailors and Merchant Mariners consider them to be worthless airborne scavengers.
It's a good looking photograph of the beast though,my friend.
The lighting looks especially nice to me.

A beautiful portrait of this very alert Herring Gull watching you closely with that golden eye, it's shiny golden beak casting a shadow on it's throat. The clear blue sky creating the perfect backdrop. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

Oh wow! That is the exact look my x wife had. I wonder if they are related? Evil grin..lol.. cool capture..the clarity is great. The angle of this birds facial is great. The capture of the light is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Good eye and great job overall
