Dude! The one praying and the one left alone to watch his friends get caught are both priceless.
Great humor, SHARP details and great glowing eyes on this Tough cat.
Nice work Dude ;)

Her name is Baby. she was very big cat and i promise ya she was over 20lbs..sadly i lost her a few months ago. i live in a senior neighborhood and we have possum and raccoons issues. the park owners put out poison and sadly my Baby found it..the neighborhood knew Baby (she was always come up to neighbors expecting a little loving) and they informed me they saw her body at the end of the park..should have seen me crying like a baby when i found her. i did this drawing in memory of my famous mouser. even the squirrels were scared of her..now i see squirrels running up and down the road with no fear. guess they know my Baby is gone. so many good memories..here is the funny part, i have always been a dog person..she is the 1st cat i let into my life..now i miss the hell out of her! thanks for the great review.

Sniff sniff... Sheesh! Mark... So very sorry to hear about your sweet Cat.Not a fan of poison being used to rid certain annoying animals. There are other ways. My brother uses cages and he traps and releases the raccoons that are always trying to make his attic their home.

A pretty good looking entry into the competition posted here! Looks like she is an excellent mouser. In your fine and traditional composition. Like the mouse that is praying! Nicely created!

Real comedy here. Funny cat face looks the deal. Poor mouses all around. I love the one praying. Great colours. Skillful drawing. A clever construction. Good luck in the comp.

you got the soft fur effect, I can see that in her feet too. Big loveable saucer eyes with many well expressed presents for the owner. The patterns and textures are nice, the vase of aloe Vera or cactii against the fence is quite pleasing. To marry patterns I think if the grass was a different texture it could work better though that possibly is easier said than done. h
However it is or could be a compositional challenge

well Tom i wont assume like you..im not assuming that you live in this country. if not no worries..see in this country we have a major retailer known as Walmart..they sell a grass looking indoor/outdoor carpet. how would you know i spread that carpet out on this patio that is exposed to the elements. see if i was going to do grass there would be more blades exposing..no worries..see one day if you become an actual member here FAR, your score will count. one lil bit of advise if you do join us..you dont have to try to look for something to be wrong to do a review. over in time you will see..now remember..the ones you reviewed, they get review yours too..wink..thank you STANDARD member for your review.(thumbs up)

ok so I am not a fan of mice at all but your detail once again is amazing. Great expressions and fun.
Every bit of this image is done with great care and precision.

I betcha I can still entertain ya with mice while they are dancing..imagine that the females are dressed in 1920's flapper and the males with vest, bolo hat and cane..and I assure you will be tapping your foot by the end of the video..it's only 3 minutes long..look me up on YouTube and pick "when love runs out" by OneRepublic. Try it..wink. thanks for the awesome review

I'll give you a bonus rating for the very intricate weaved back drop!
Seriously, the subject is very impressive with the funny creation of that Great catch hanging by its tail...!

Amusing composition with just the right visually appealing elements!

I'm sure this would gather more votes at the polls!

Congratulations!

It is nice to be able to see some of your work once again. I always enjoy the colors and the object that you choose. That's like my cat, he loves to hunt. I love it he has three down, one in his mouth, and one doing some hard praying. I really like it, keep up the great work and thanks for sharing. Jack

This is modeled after my cat "Baby" she weighed over 20 lbs and lived to be 16 till someone poisoned her. Now my neighbors would tell me how my Baby was friendly or how they saw her with a mouse in her mouth walking down the road and so on..I think she ate a mouse that was poisoned. You know what's funny? I miss her more than my x wives.. wink..lol..thanks for the awesome review

Mark for a start its a fabulous piece of digital art, the cat is superb especially those eyes, and with the mice you can imagine the pure terror and panic that they are feeling and going through and all those ones on the grass has their own expressions of horror, but it has the grim other side of life syndrome attached with this the life and death battle that we all face sooner or later, I can appreciate the artistic side of this and I also accept the pure natural instincts of the cats behaviour I have two cats of my own but I think others will not care for this sort of subject matter and will not look at this more closely because it deserves a second look!

Nice! This one is in true cartoon and I actually got a good chuckle out of it. I love how the mice are trying to get away. The one pulling it's own tail is what got me laughing. Good stuff!
