A beautiful picture of this deep yellow centred blue Water Lily rising up out of the water it's petals encrusted with liquid diamonds sparkling in the sunshine & framed by the green Lily pads beneath it. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

the flower is clearly erected above the water surface, it should be rather a blue lotus;

Thanks Fred - I always thought the lotus had the seed pod in center but checked it out on internet and think you are right :)

What a lovely water lily, it's a nice placement of the lily in the frame and I love the green lily pads behind it on the left, the water drops give such a sense of freshness!
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones are natural. Well composed and presented!

Beautiful mauve water lily in a lily pond with fresh rain drops. Lovely yellow centre and surrounding greenery. Good lighting and a clear and focused capture Mary. Who knows when any of us can travel overseas again.
