I appreciate the fact that with Easter you chose Jesus instead of a bunny. I'm kind of having trouble with the color choice. The red on Jesus face is true, but I might have chosen a more solemn color for the rest of the photo. When you spoke of the being on lock down I got to thinking of the Disciples and how they had a self imposed lock down because they feared their relationship with Jesus would get them in trouble or killed. I hadn't put two and two together like that before now. Thank you for that.

That's a great interpretation so thank you also for that connection. The reason for that colour... It is intended to be a sort of replica of what we used to get from our churches in the UK to display so the colour is the same. It also is 'shocking pink' .. A shocking piece of history, as this virus is shocking the world. I think it makes the poster very noticeable so perhaps that's why it was chosen in the beginning when the first posters were printed.

Thank you for the explanation. Perhaps, it is a difference in culture. In the Catholic Church the statues of the saints are covered in a deep purple cloth until Easter. I was Catholic until I was 15. I started to go to a Baptist church with my mother and got saved. You don't find the statues in Baptist churches. When you mentioned shocking pink, it made more sense to me. Different strokes for different folks!

It's so interesting to have discussion like we have here and so informative. My church is Anglican. We have some ornamentation but not on the Catholic scale . I have attended Baptists services when I can't reach my own. I had a time once when I attended all denominations to find out what they did different.

It is very interesting. I took a class titled Religions of the World when I was in college. That has been more years than I want to admit ago. What I remember about similarities is that they all have a flood event and they have some sort of life beyond death.. I believe in Jesus birth, life on earth, and resurrection for our sins. Believing in Jesus as my personal Lord and Savior and asking for forgiveness of my sins, and striving to become more like Him daily is the way I choose to live my life. I know the Catholic church believes that way too. However, I found my relationship was with the church more so than with Jesus. I love talking about Him and am enjoying our conversation.

I am very like you. I hold the same belief but I think the basics of all religions have a meeting point just the years between change the stories each time they are told. I think as we learn more and become more 'advanced ' our perceptions change but there is a core at the heart of all life and that doesn't change. Peace be with you.

Interesting angle how you did Christ. The details is great. The shading is great. The blend of the colors is great. The body form and language is great. The shading is great. The lettering is good. The creation is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Creative and great job overall.

Thank you. Yes I believe the old world will be much changed. It could be for the better, things were very unbalanced. Perhaps The Planet Earth Fights BACK! Good Wishes to you too and keep safe.

A sensitive and significant submission with the Easter Break approaching and the importance of religion at this time in all cultures. The image is purely eye-catching as a result of the rose and serese pink background.

This is a very unique time for all of us, thank you for creating this and I think it's wonderful that you display it in your window. Well chosen pink background with white text. Well created Jesus on the cross. I know that this Easter will be different, but it's not the building , or the crowd of people , it's our personal relationship with our savior , our faith and our belief that is most important here during this time. Happy Easter to you and yours!
