How cute. I was not aware that they would eat pomegranate seeds! I will have to try this with my garden mocking bird. I thought they were bugs only. The idea of the orange skin dish is very eye appealing. It looks like a full mouth full for this little one. Thanks for the post and idea for my little bird.

Thus is a great shot! The accent red is magnificent and enough to make the whole image intriguing. The bluish gray back ground is neutral, but a lot of texture. Which is perfect! Amazing shot of the Mockingbird with berry in mouth the red of the berry and bowl really pops out against the grey/blue background. Excellent sharp focus and good composition.
