This is an excellent close up. Your photo has good depth and your focus and exposure are perfect. shallow background emphasizes the rose without being distracting. The petals of the rose are sharply refined. The various shades of pink are alluring. Although, the composition is balanced, in my opinion there should be slightly mos space between the flower and the left margin.

I do understand why you captured this flower off to the left. You managed to bring in those lil white flowers into the image without losing the flower in the POV. Cool. The clarity is great. The capture of the light is great. The angle of the shot of this and other flowers is great. The image is balance and eye appealing to the viewer. Didn't know you are a photographer as well Penmaster. Cool. Good eye and great job overall

This is a striking picture of a such perfect rose. The background of soft whiteE alyssum cover is complementing the bloom. The branches pointing into different direction add to the nice composition. Focus and natural color works well in this photograph.
