thank you, it pleases me that you liked the painting well enough to award it the 6 star highest rating. What nice surprise. the spikes were challenging for sure, but overall I enjoyed creating this painting and the opportunity it presented on mastering acrylic paint.

Hi Lucien, Your Puff fish looks like it's wearing sunglasses and smiling at me! Look like he has antlers too. You definitely gave fellow the pin-cushioned effect of a porcupine. I know that Puff fish to resemble a porcupine when they puff out like this for protection. Love the detail you put in this for each of those little spines. very cool and fun creature to see. Pretty cool looking puffer fish. You got the eyes and the mouth and the spikes above the face. I love the colourful affect you gave this puffer fish. I've only ever seen beige coloured ones. The waters are filled with creatures of all sorts and colours far beyond what anyone knows about.

Nice acrylic painting. The black gives this the eeriness of the ocean.

The back ground is actually a very dark blue, came out more black looking when I posted it.
I think in the wild the oceans colors are reflected on the fish.
