This low light shot is interesting. Although, we see the man and the dog silhouetted, their actions are evident. The photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. The lighted parts show refined detail. The contradiction of silhouettes, sparsely seen detail and refined parts is intriguing. The dog and its master are well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

The black and white reveal the rugged natural beauty, bringing out the contrasts of light. You have captured the essence the bond between a person and their dog.

There are lots of beaches in the world! Where is this one? Your interesting composition seems to suggest that the dog does not have much room to walk into! Exposure and sharpness are good. Nicely done!

Wonderful composition and choice of black and white. The relevant subjects being alone is touching. The execution and presentation with the detail is well done. Good contest entry!

Really nice photo!
Love the black and white, and all the small details it shows. The waves crashing, the fog on the pillars leading out in the water. Just a man and his dog. Great job!

I really like the mood created by your use of black and white, it's a lonely scene brought to life by this man and his faithful companion. Fortunately we do not have to distance ourselves from our pets.
This is well photographed with good focus, this image is clear, exposure is good. I see good tonal variations in your black and white. Well composed and presented! Best wishes to you in this contest!

A very nice shot and a fine choice to show in black and white. I like the composition and the crisp detail, but might increase the contrast a little. Good luck in the contest.

Interesting photo with the person and dog silhouetted against the background. I particularly like the fact the the person is slightly off center.
