Top marks for creativeness especially in these strange times. I have hit a block so your suggestion of a contest might be enough to nudge me into trying to be creative again I think it will do well in the contest. It has humour, a story, great character drawings and the colours catch the eye. Good luck.

no luck..cartoons rarely do but i enter them anyway..all 3 placed were artworks not cartoons..that speaks for itself..wink. thanks Brenda for the awesome review.

Well .... i do sort of agree. You do better than most. I find its the photorealistics that do best. May be its photography people looking for yhe perfect likeness in relation to a perfect photo. Digital also does we, but digital for me is a skill using sofyeware. Art as you and I do is a interpretation of our own style. And do it goes on... but keep challenging the sustem with your great cartoons... xx

Another illustration Mark that has humour and every character tells its own story, love that monkey reading the map with no idea what it is looking at, that evil looking plant looks like it will eat up those two or the tiger will, real fun to view!

A interesting, full of subjects and action scene. The colors are bright and lively and repeating them through out give the drawing really good cohesion feel. In addition, the various textures give the rendering a good visual balance as well.

(wink) I see you have curious George, the snake from the Garden of Eden, Daniel Tiger, a man eating plant, and the man with the yellow hat. The Gekko from Geiko, a little green man, and the dog from a show I can't remember the title for. Excellent imagination!

really the King of Creativity is Jerry Lewis. he had the ability in a split second create a character with his face, mannerism and also how he spoke..he really was more of a genius than most folks gave him credit for..;.wink. thanks for the great review.

Wow. I really like this piece of art. It's amazing that you used sharpies and pens. It allows you to use your imagination. I see the father trying to steer the child clear of the dangers of the forest. I like the monkey trying to read.

i consider myself more of an illustrator than an artist..an artist will draw something to express themselves..however as an illustrator we just tell stories a viewer can recognized..wink. thanks for the great review.
