A beautiful picture of this very colourful Musk Lorikeet on the Eucalyptus in flower where it uses its brush tipped tongue to suck up the nectar from the vivid pink flowers. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

This is an exquisite capture. This bird has beautiful colors which perfectly harmonize with the colors of the surrounding tropical nature. The photo is excellent focused and exposed and has exquisite depth. The shallow background is unobtrusive. The bird is perfectly placed within the frame. Its diagonal position is pleasant to the eyes of the viewer. The photo is well composed, balanced and framed.

Thanks again - I only started photographing birds seriously in last 2 years and am amazed at the different varieties we have in our local parks and wetlands.

Oh this is a nice one Mary. The colors are nice and bright, the focus is so close to being pinpoint sharp, and the framing of this beautiful bird is perfect. The little hanging fruits make for a nice framing element as well. Soft background brings out this guy so well. Great work Mary. Keep it up ~ Steve
