An excellent shot. The flowering gum tree is a fantastic setting for this beautiful bird. A very well composed shot that shows the lorikeet in excellent detail and wonderful colors.

This is a wonderful and colourful nature image. The light is superb and brings out the details of this Musk Lorikeet and colours so clearly and beautifully. The surrounding eucalyptus leaves and flowers harmonise so well together. Excellent capture Mary.

I livevtbese birds. I painted one a couple of years ago and that makes me very conservative of details in plumage and body language. You have captured good in both here. The colours are great and the background compliments and frames a very interesting shot

A very good nature shot posted here! Cannot remember seeing one of those birds before. They certainly do not live in Britain! Your lovely image benefits from having a good composition with fine exposure and sharpness. Nicely taken!
