Wow Sesha what an amazing entry for the contest. I love the facial appearance in the center and the red lightning bolts.
Very nightmare like and creepy.
Best wishes in the contest!

sounds as though you are describing my life. Another cousin murdered in my home country, by a lab st barths Human Research member. I like the colours fused together in this, and what we recognise as either red lightning or red blood veins. Pandaros box of horror tricks played on the innocents.

I thought I was the only one having dreams affected by the pandemic. The painting is such cleaver expression of what we are going through and it is beautifully done. Although it signals great danger it does not create fear - great art!

This is a very troubling image. The defocused face is scary and the bats foretell doom. Very nightmarish and hope it dies soon! All the best for making the pandemic vivid. Ginny

Hi

This is certainly the stuff of nightmares. Looks like the coronavirus made tangible! Love the inclusion of the bats and the ring shape. Cant find the pangolin though ;) Good luck in the contest! R

Hi Sesha!
I literally 'sleep like the dead',my friend, and I haven't had (what I consider to be ) a 'nightmare' in decades but I do know a thing about them and I'm enjoying this colorful presentation with it's classic 'bad dream' imagery that you've 'dreamed up' for us here!

The first thing that catches my attention is the demonic face in the center of your canvas. It's staring at me with no expression, just a malevolent feeling. The bats, which some believe is where the virus originated from, are perfectly place above the demon, and appear as though, like you said, dreamlike. The tumultuous sea, like the churning of our fears within us, and of course, the bolts of lightening, red to signify evil, come from who knows where to shock us into reality of the fragility of life.

A very effective interpretation of this terrible virus that is causing havoc all over the world. The faceless image of this virus is well captured here. The hovering bat is a reminder of the death and dark destruction that has been caused. The red lightening bolts symbolize the lightening quickness with which this virus strikes. A great entry for the contest and I wish you all the best in the voting.

This is very well created to show the nightmare this pandemic is causing for so many people. It's bats and a mysterious face coming from across the sea. The red lightning bolts are really standing out here. The colors you chose are perfect to illustrate this . Well presented!
