An eye catching painting. It sure does have that lived in look about it. I like the composition and the great colors. Best of luck in the contest.

Very well done. I am no artist yet I love the "Primitive" look of your painting as it is perfectly suited for the structure and surroundings.

The colors are very attractive so suited to the theme of the scene. I hope you will post other such scenes in the future.

I think this is an excellent entry for the contest. I wish you all the best in the voting ~ Steve

What a lovely experience for you to have been there to paint this. It looks a beautiful place, primitive as you say but homely, relaxed and friendly looking which you have caught well. I love the clothes line!

This is a lovely memory you will always have. There is much detail in your work and so much to see. Nice happy colors.
Well presented. Now your memory will live on as others view your lovely art in years to come.

Really interesting piece of artwork. I really like the scene you have captured here. I feel like I know the place just from your detailed artwork! Love the bright pops of color interwoven in as well. Nice entry!

I did not roll down any further as soon as this appeared. It is lovely and shows the sort of place we would all love to live in. So sad about your friend. Do you think the moving had something to do with it? Yes, have postcards made of this.

Thank you so much for your lovely review. I think the move from his casa was very traumatic for him but we will never know for sure. Some of the other primitive houses had occupants who also did not live l9ng after being moved. I and many others thought these older habitation charming and added to the ambiance of the very natural island. The people living in the older houses were happy, self sufficient and rich in life, poor in money but enough to be happy. 2 years ago I made a series of noteleys and postcards of so.ilar and this. They all sold to visitors to the island. At the moment I am not sure whether to 're print until I find out what the future is.

A really quaint composition and a wonderful narrative to go with it.The palette of colours are glorious and particularly enjoy the clothes hanging on the line outside the shack.

This reminds me of a place in rosarito Mexico where they would take you out fishing. Thanks for sharing the history behind your very well painted house that Mario use to live in.
