Mary,
A beautiful picture of this New Holland Honeyeater perched above you head turned to get a good look at you with it's pale eye standing out from it's surrounding black mask. It's black and white streaked breast & gold splash on it's wing are eye-catching, contrasting with the blurred greens of the background. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.

This is an exquisite shot of the attractive bird. The photo is excellently focused and exposed and has good depth. The refinement of plumage and body of the bird is impressive. This is another very interesting and beautiful little bird, I love the black and white pattern and that spot of bright yellow! Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones appear natural. It's a lovely pose with the head turned allowing a good look at its face , especially appreciate the clear eye! Well composed and presented!
