This art reminds me of abolone
Stone used in jewelry. The colors and design really is beautiful and looks just like the unique pattern in the stone.
I really like the abstract quality that emerged from your technique and I think it makes for a beautiful work of art.

Thanks so much, Marsha, for your lovely review. Yes, I love the Paua shell or Abalone - bought some when I stayed with my daughter in New Zealand. Suzanne

Having been in a cave or two, I am glad they had more light than this one. Did I mention, I hated caves as I am claustrophobic. Back to the review...Your idea of fun is gong to be contagious. Creativity and ingenuity abound with this scene. The central light coming out of the cave opening could be used to start a great story around a glowing campfire. Great fun and so creative.

At first sight thought this was a shot of a mineral! Your fine composition offers us an enjoyable view of your artificial cave. Provides us with lots to mull over. Well painted!

This seems a treasure cave where precious stones and metals gleam in the light which fall through the cracks of the surrounding black coal. Te flow of light is intriguing. The colors are intriguing and well emphasized by the dark background. The abstract is well composed and framed. The composition is balanced.

Cool,Suzanne!
It DOES look like light is coming from somewhere deep below, doesn't it?
I wonder what might be causing it?
( Well, some of us know but we should probably stay quiet about it,right?
There's no sense in getting the 'innocent ones' into a panic! : D )
It a very interesting painting,my friend!
Definitely a 'Good Show'!

Another awesome piece , created with your special technique, I see the light through the opening of the cave, nice combination of colors, I'm also seeing some faces in this one. I can see mushrooms growing on the floor of the cave. Awesome shapes throughout that really stand out from the black background. Well created and presented!

A very colourful abstract artwork with interesting shapes, colours. The light and shadow effect is appropriate. The uneven borders add to the viewing intereest! Good effort!
