This Wood Poppy is truly beautiful, and I think the light is falling on it in such a lovely way. You have also Bright out the fine textures of the green leaves so well, and because of the dark background the flower is standing out in an excellent way.
The Focus on the flower is spot on and Sharp showing truly Clear and well defined details both in the petals and the stamens, and the exposure is Perfect.
I like the way you have cropped the photo and also the placement of the flower within the frame. I think this is a truly pretty and well taken flower photo With an excellent DOF, and I wish you Luck With the contest.

Very nice capture of the bright yellow poppy.
Well focused, this image is clear, exposure is well managed, colors and tones are natural. I see good detail in the petals and in center too, also like that bud to the right. I might remove the green spot in upper left. Otherwise, well composed and presented!

Nice photo!
What a cool flower. I even like the unbloomed bud. I like the asymmetrical look the the shot. The o ly thing I might have changed is a bit more cropping on the left side so theres no hreen showing. Only brown. Really nice color and clarity! Nice entry.

Well I have never heard of a wood poppy but this is certainly a lovely flower.
Well presented with great detail and focus.
Great color and lighting.
The pop of yellow centered and standing proud and tall.
