I love the contrast in the photo. The church looks to take the center of attention in the entire scene. The landscape around goes from very detailed to fading in the background- nice affect- Great photo

Nice image. I imagine that it is really peaceful here. Church looks a little over exposed, but that can easily be brought back. I like the fact that the church is not centre in the image and think that the square crop looks good. I would've liked slightly more room at the top of the image, but not a necessity. Well done :-)

a very beautiful mountain view with natural colors; unfortunately the pic is much too bright: the white Church is washed out; you should decrease the brightness by 2 EV, on your camera or on your computer;

    I figured I would mess this up but that's why I am here to learn. Thank you for your review my friend. Jack

Nice found scene, like the local and composition.
A couple of issues though, the whole scene is somewhat over exposed washing out the colors and the church is burnt out - way too much exposure. On a scene like this, I would shoot a series of exposures to get the one that will best capture the scene.

Such a beautiful place to have a church. I like the fact that it is the only building in the photo. You must have been on a neighboring mountain to get this shot. I like the shadows from the clouds on the mountain across the way. The placement is very good.

Great scene jack. This reminds me of home in East TN. If a person is looking for green they need not look further than the Smokey Mountains.

I know where there are numerous white country churches such as this one nestled in the surrounding green trees.

A great entry for the contest and I wish you all the best in the judging jack ~ Steve

It's a fine POV with the mountain in background and the Church surrounded by green trees.
Your exposure and white balance are off here loosing details on the church and having blown whites.
A shot like this needs to have a Kelvin Scale at 5 thousand, Low ISO and a exposure bias at -1.0
It's a nice shot Jack, but some work is needed on exposure and white balance Control.

    I really appreciate your advice and remember that I am an old truck driver and basically just point and shoot. I don't know all that fancy stuff, But I really appreciate it. Jack

Wow! This depicts rural living to the max. I also live close to mountains(Blueridge) and love seeing photos like this. Natural colors and very crisp details. I might have attempted a different vantage point to center the church, but other than that, this exceptional.

Good enough landscape and it is green as such,but feel the church is a bit to small in this and also the light has blown away any detail in the church...Brian
