It's a very sad story that accompanies this painting of your mother, this is a very well created scene with excellent details to fill the page, I like the bright red dress she wears, I can see she uses a cane for walking now, I like the flowers placed near her . Once we become mothers, our lives are no longer all about us. Happy Mother's Day to you!

thank you- yes, a totally symbolic painting of my mum. Amazingly good with her hands, everything she touched, remembering her home- the background, loves flowers- she talks to them and they grow like mad for her!! but parts of now, memories, silver hair and walking stick.
