This is an excellent close up. The textures of the Cabbage leaves are perfectly shown. The water drop below amplifies those textures remarkably. The photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. I appreciate the sharpness of detail and the natural look of the colors. The tight framing is adequate. The composition is well balanced.

There is a very nice flow within the top portion of the image. Almost like waves breaking on the shore, especially the way the leafs have that curl and give that visual rolling look along the top.
That aspect for me is very nice and bring me easily, visually into the image.
I do however think that the brown shades along that same area are a sight detractor to the color harmony within the shot, and for me that is because of the richness of the purples along the bottom of the image. For me if that are was not there, the images colors would have a better unity and harmony. currently it looks like a divided color pallet where top and bottom do not join visually.

You have definitely chosen a good subject to exhibit texture,not only through the colour but also the shape the angle and all the bends and curves that through the chiaroscuro technique has brought about a splendid presentation
