A beautiful picture of these Waterlily Dahlia blooms with pink tipped white petals. The flowers filling the frame. Beautiful composition framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

it is a Dahlia, I thought a Mum, saw it and it caught my attention, the colors and the fullness of the flower for me was/is beautiful,and I had to try and capture it.

it would make for a good subject painting or even a drawing.
Yes, that is what drew me to the flowers, it was the way the pedals are colored. Striking is what I thought and then can I capture that aspect in a photograph.

What w beautiful image. The textures you have created make this look like a painting. The pastel colors are both soothing to the senses and yet have a touch of drama. A wonderful entry for the contest.

As it is a contest entry I see in the upper left corner a bit of a hot spot. It pulls the eye every so slightly from the beauty of those magnificent flowers you have captured. Just a thought.
