Wow really impressive on all sorts of levels. The detail is obviously very well done, with the faces and the shadow gradations. Amazing what you can do with pencils! The darkened background with the gray coming out behind the people is awesome, and inadvertently creates this halo effect around both of them. Lots of joy in this image, and the black and white colors give it a very timeless appeal. Definitely a six stars in my book.

I feel so sad for your loss but this is a fantastic tribute, one that Aaden will cherish forever. You can see how much love she has for her son and how joyful he is to be with her. This must have been a mixture of emotions for you but an absolute stunning result.

Steve, I believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is the fire that burns within your heart. Your words are so encouraging to me. It has been almost 10 months since I watched Alyssa die. Through these months the Lord has been working out something which I can't know this side of eternity. I must trust. I will continue to believe that Jesus loves us and He holds the keys.

Dear fellow artist,
You know the heart and soul that goes into each artistic creation. It is a part of our own beings. The Lord has allowed us this wonderful outlet, and for that I am eternally grateful. I can't imagine going through the death of my heart without being able to bless others and glorify His name. Thank you for your wonderful review, and for the encouragement.

My MK. How faithful you have been through the years. You know that creative art is a way of giving back to this world what the Lord has blessed us with. These past ten months have shaken me to the very foundation of my existence. Through it all, God has been faithful. I have ranted, and raved against my God. How could He have taken my heart and expected me to live. He has stood by my side and guided me through the Valley of the Shadow of Death. I will continue to use my art to glorify His Name. Maybe help others who are suffering the pain of loss.
