yes, I can see in the distance that the cliffs are white. In Germany they made little hills with all the rubble deposited in one place.Interesting reminders for some future generation. Those certainly are the red bricks of English houses. Interesting way to dispose of them. Do the clay, kaolin and shale which is what bricks are, totally disintegrate in the end I wonder. No doubt, the clay will change the formation of the beach sand! Really interesting snap!

Oh wow! This such an interesting capture!
I'm blown away that there is still rubble from WW2.
That's got to be a rough beach to walk. No barefoot
wading I suppose haha.
Thank you for entering this in the contest.

This photo has a little bit of everything and textures galore. The roughness of the rocks, the water, the beautiful sunset. You are right, it is like a double dusk. I wonder if the clouds won out or did it become a cloudless night? Excellent exposure, framing, and focus.

I kind of figured that, but wanted to know for sure to see if I was right. I hope you didn't get too wet!

Nice photograph! Love the low perspective above the rubble. You captured the slight pink in the sunset just as the storm is blowing in...
Great eye!

Cool,Nikman!
That's a really interesting picture and it's a nicely-presented one too!
I've been told that the German Luftwaffe really Pounded the Liverpool area during the Blitz and this scene shows us a little of the distant aftermath of that tragic affair in an engaging and ( to me ) enjoyable manner!
'Good Show',my friend!

Your nice and thoughtful review is much appreciated! Yes, the Luftwaffe flattened central Liverpool and many of the surrounding districts for a long time.

Well this one certainly shows show's the beach textures with in the rocks and pebbles the sea also has it own textures as does the sky, love the band of golden yellow that separates the sky and beach it gives the image that balance and shows off the horizons!

That is definitely an interesting landscape full of texture and different colors! Would be interesting to walk and see what's there. Good capture with excellent dof and focus;I like the sliver of sunset sky sandwiched between the horizon and this gloomy gray clouds of dusk.An interesting layered look. A great choice for the contest,I wish you all the best!

Very good entry for the contest. Great shot showing the rubble beach originating from the bombing of Liverpool and a permanent reminder. I like the angle you used for this. Lighting and focus very good. Good luck in the contest. Suzanne

I know Crosby Beach well as I am just up the coast from there in Ainsdale. It makes a change to see the Crosby Beach without the Antony Gormley statues and you have presented this particular area of the coast well in this photograph with excellent texture of the stones and rubble.A nice structure to the submission
