Supergold, a question: what are all the darker speckles seen in the blue of the water?I like the composition and the fact you cropped it so that the Goose and goslings become the image. All of that area is in good focus and has really good lighting.
The detractor to the image is all those little dark speckles; if not for them being a visual irritant, know what I mean? the photo would be a 5 for sure.

I see what you mean and it is very strange because I always check and clean the front lens, and during the last 2 weeks I used only one camera with two different lenses;

The photo is Nice and Sharp and it is Clear and well defined details to be seen in all the birds. The exposure is Perfect.
The cropping is working well and the birds have got a fine placement within the frame. A truly Sweet and well taken photo Fred, and With an excellent DOF.
