Turtles can be pretty creations in a photograph if properly. My belief is art is art, and all things can be considered true art forms. This is an excellent photograph with excellent clarity and definition in the reflection in the water, that really shows your skill as a photographer. The natural setting of the wetlands is captured nicely in your photo, displaying pleasant colors throughout your image. Very nicely done. Thanks

This is a beautiful photo of this turtle! The photo is sharp and clear. I like that his shell is so clean. Sometimes when I see turtles their shells are all covered with mud. Great reflection in the water.

I think it depends on where the turtles hang out, painted turtles like to swim and are on the move so maybe why they stay cleaner, thanks for your review

A lovely shot Lise its crisp and clear in every way especially on the turtles shell, the light is also ideal and those reflections adds that little extra to the image!

Nice capture, the main subject is captured nicely, the lighting is good fro thee most part, even with the hot spot on the shell, is not a detractor to the image works. (Normally not a good thing to have.)
I think because the rest has really nice color harmony.

very cool. the angle of the shot of this turtle in the reeds at water is great. the capture of the light is great. the clarity is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.
