Lets hope that these two survive - nature can be cruel - love the fluffed up cuddly look of the two remaining cygnets. A nice composition with good color and exposure.

What I like about this is the way they are posed, the way you framed them is nice, however a little tight. That being said, the visual appeal is the way you capture of their juvenile feathers or down, visually the feel is soft and silky, and very appealing, tactile and fluffy.
It is sad and yet life that one was killed.
Thank you for allowing me to comment on your post. Cheers,
Lucien

This is a cute photograph of baby swans sleeping. it's interesting how they turn their heads to sleep. I guess to protect their beak. The grays are pleasant and soft making the babies look peaceful and calm. Very nice presentation and clarity. Thanks

Before reading your description, I was like, "awe how adorable! Where are the beaks?" My heart goes out to those sisters.
They are stunningly fuzzy <3

It is very cute the way they rest breast to breast. A very fine composition with beautiful details. Not so sure I like all those feathers.

Aw! How sad. I like how you've captured the sad feeling of the two remaining cygnets and shown the fluffy texture of their feathers. Very good lighting and focus showing a nice clear image. Great composition. Suzanne

A touching picture indeed if one has followed your cygnet story! The sequence of the events is simple and straightforward. Good family drama!:) I like this shot for its simplicity and endearing subjects!
