I too think they are really pretty weeds,both in their yellow state but more so in their seed state.I have tried may a time to take photographs trying to capture the seeds in flight either by blowing on them or awaiting a gust of wind.Your image is well structured and beautifully detailed throughout.

Extensive detail captured. Great composition. Perfect idea for a B&W photo. I am not a dandelion fan per say (our HOA frowns on them, lol). In this instance, it's a cool shot.

A pretty good looking entry into the competition posted here! Your fine and classical composition grants us an enjoyable view of your dandelion. The black and white treatment worked out pretty well as have the exposure and sharpness. Like the curving, fluffy fine detail. Well done and good luck!

Interesting fluffy flyers still intact may not be appreciated this much if not macrofied...
Better if you didn't clip the tip of the sphere, leaving a little marginal space as there's still a lot of negative space below...
Still an impressive nature shot!
