I like the soft light which still allows sharpness of detail. The reflections in the rain drops are interesting. The photo is well focused and exposed and has good depth. The opening blossom stands nicely out from the shallow background. The colors are pleasant and look natural-realistic. The blossom is well placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

The peony flower is one of my favourites. This is a lovely image and colour of a full bloom, enhanced by the lovely drops of rain on the edges of the petals. Nice surrounds of greenery to bring out the pink and white of the Peony. Good clear image with great lighting. All the best in the contest!

peonies are Always very beautiful and spectacular flowers; a very good entry to the flower contest; I would suggest to decrease the brightness; it would avoid some blown outs in the white petals;
