Nicely composed image of this swan and the two cygnets. Beautifully focused and well balanced, colors are lovely;a charming photo that is quite enjoyable to view!

Oh soooo cute and fuzzy. What a sweet portrait you have framed for us to view. A stunning, very entertaining shot of the swan and babies. Very personal and up close. I really like the way you chose not to include the Swans entire body, it really makes the shot more intimate. I feel like we caught her/him reprimanding the babies, because their heads are turned down. Adorable.

Doesn't look too appetizing can't blame the little cygnets. Lovely composition showing the curve of the mothers neck nicely as the two little ones look downcast. Good color and exposure.

A very nice shot with a caption that certainly seems appropriate. The cygnets seem to be getting grayer by the day. A very fine composition with good colors.

I like lot of this image, the main components of the image, the way you have framed it for me is very good, the eye of the observer can see the interaction between mother and her young. The colors are good and work together well to caret a harmony that is eye appealing.
The main draw back is the lighting, or better said that there is not life, highlights in the eyes, which for me would have added life to the subjects. Made the scene more dynamic.

Thank you for allowing me to review the image and give you my thoughts. It is good except as stated asking it just less then a 5 for me. Take care & have a great weekend. Cheers
Lucien

Great photograph of the swan trying to teach her youngsters. They are very apologetic and will do better next time. The composition and beautiful colors are very pleasing!

Just so charming Fred and you can just imagine those two cygnets with their heads bowed down like that saying exactly that, I like the fact that you have got the odds in numbers in this case three always better then even!

Yes I noticed what a shame to hear that I saw a lot of that last year not just with the swans but all the other water birds!

I am sorry I do not have any more 6 star ratings...but in my book...this is a 6! Love the composition of this photograph and the subject matter. Clever how mama swan is off center and babies in full view. This strategy was successful for you. Beautiful photograph and a top contender for the win!

:):) You almost make them human!:) Very nice shot timed well to capture that particular moment. The light and shadows, colours and the composition have worked out well. Good effort!

Fred,
A beautiful picture of this tiny pair of Mute Swan Cygnets head down refusing the offer of pond algae from Mum . The sky's reflection on the lakes ripples creates s beautiful backdrop. Beautiful composition framing and lighting taken with superb camera techniques and sharp focus.
