Love this stature and how I feel upon gazing at it. Love the textures and shapes , angle upon which you took it , perfect focus and contrasts. I know a stupid question, but what city is this displayed in. Sure hope it is not destroyed, that would be really sad. God bless the USA. Got my vote.

Thank you so much! For the input and the lovely rating. It's in Cedar Rapids Iowa. In front of a building uses for events called veterans auditorium. Still standing!

The angle of the shot seems unusual to me. This PoV reminds me of foreshortening in paintings. Your photo attracts the attention of the viewer. The eyes of the viewer are lead the writing and than to the statue which makes the meaning of this presentation instantaneously clear for the viewer. Your photo is well focused and exposed. I appreciate the sharpness of detail and the realistic look of the colors. The photo is well composed and framed.

A nicely angled presentation of this infamous statue.The first and only time i ever saw this statue was on the stamp collection I had as a child back in the 70s and have never seen it since until now through your presentation.It doesn't appear as big as I assumed it was

Thank you! It is a replica of that statue! It is in front of an auditorium called Veterans Coliseum in my town. 🙂
