I also wanted to congratulate you on winning the contest you created for Angelheart. He is a cute fellow. He feeds quite nicely into the colorful world of Oz. It seems he takes a rest and observes the other animals before searching for some tasty seeds among the abundant plants of the garden in the background. The mixed media is perfectly composed and rendered. The colors are pleasant. The bird is excellently placed within the frame. The composition is balanced.

Hey Nancy!
It's good to hear from you again :)
This is a really beautiful artistic creation you have made here. The colorful swallow is eye catching and stands out well. I like the colors you have added on the branch, it makes for a nice affect. Thanks for the share and I hope you are well!

You have me very puzzled about what Oz is and where is the Emerald City? Hope you are feeling much better now? Looks like and sounds like you put in a great deal of time, research, effort and technique into your fine image. Very creative!

Hi Nik, Sorry, that I always seem to be baffling you. I got this idea from the movie and children's book , "The Wizard of Oz". The movies was made in 1939. I don't know how old the book is. Judy Garland played Dorothy and got swept up in a tornado and dropped in the land of Oz where she had to seek out the wizard to find a way to get home. The capital of Oz was the Emerald city. They had a horse of many colors that kept changing from one color to another. That's where I got the idea to make colorful animals that might live there. I thought every one knew this story.
I'm glad you like what I created Thanks for the wonderful review.

That narrative was all gobbledygook to me,didn't have a clue about the software you used to create this image, but,I must say,you have achieved a good result..colourful,virtually psychedelic and well structured composition

Hi Nancy!
'The Emerald City of Oz'?
That's Perth,Western Australia,isn't it?
( So one of my old Online Models-who hailed from Perth herself-used to tell me! : )
You've created an interestingly 'trippy' looking sparrow here though,my friend!
It's delightfully Original and a lot of fun to view!
'Good Show'! : )

Hello my dear Nancy yes I am fine how are toy coping with this life changing virus the world will never be the same again!!
Yes I have been out of the FAR camp for some time I had other things I had to do also I did have some issues with FAR and still have, but it is so good to see you are still here I lot of my close buddies have left their account has been closed which is a shame, I think a large number of people have (did have) some real issues regarding FAR!!
Stay safe my dear! Adrian.

Hi Adrian, Never in the world did I believe we would ever face a virus like the Corona virus. It has changed everything! I'm trying to face it the best way I can, but it seems to be never ending.
I'm sorry about the issues you and others are facing with FAR. I have been lucky in that regard. You probably see a lot deeper than I do. I know there have been times in contests where people have posted photo images that don't relate to it or are out of focus...and WIN! Sometimes I don't get it? I also have friends who left the site and it's sad to me I won't get to their work again. There are still people like you that make it worth being here. Real Friends and artists who blow you away with their work! I stay because I would miss that interaction very much. I'm thrilled you are one who came back and I hope you'll stay for a while. Love seeing your creations! I'm also glad that you see something worthy in what I post! Hugs! :o) Nancy
