I find some of your photographs awe inspiring and this is one. Beautifull detail. Fine angle and capture tuned to get this panarama of grandeur. It makes me see the human race as insignificant. I had no idea the were so many glaciers. Very informative notes are really appreciated.

I simply do not have enough 6 stars! Your photo is well deserving of 6 star rating!! This is simply majestic. Alaska is on my bucket list! Such amazing beauty in your photograph. From this work, I can almost feel the crisp, cool air and hear the water rippling. I love the almost monochromatic color palette. It is as harmonious as the emotions one feels viewing this photo. Lovely landscape!

Beautiful landscape photography of this glacier. The clouds in the background really makes the glaciers stand out. Great focus and lighting. Sharp detail. Beautifully composed. Nicely done.

Pat,
A beautiful & dramatic scene of the Matanuska Glacier with it's surrounding snow capped mountains. This ancient Glacier inching it's way down to the sea, over eons of time quickened by climate change. Beautiful & interesting composition, framing & lighting taken with superb camera techniques & sharp focus.

Wonderful photograph of this unique glacier. We all hope to see it some day before it will disappear- hopefully not! Great focus, composition, and overall presentation of this natural wonder. Thank you for sharing, Pat.

an excellent capture Pat of this long glacier; I like the framing against the tall mountain in the background; sharp focus with good control of exposure for the white "color".

The view of this part of glacier is striking, especial for us southern people who seldom experience freezing temperatures. To see the entire glacier must be overwhelming. Your photo is excellent focused and exposed and has good depth. It is through sharp and details are well refined. Light and color appear realistic. The photo is expertly composed and framed.
I appreciate your information about the Glaciers very much.

Two weeks ago we were having freezing weather at night and now we are on our third straight day in the high 80's and are naturally wishing for a bit of a break. Not this much of a break though. A beautiful image with fine detail in the snow and great colors.
