This is beautiful winter landscape photography. The clarity of the image is good. The distant snow covered hills, the half frozen lake in the foreground make it a well composed shot. Well done.!

i wouldnt be surprised if they found an ancient cat chasing a man who in turn is also chasing a rabbit..it would be considered the worlds longest chase game..lol..the clarity is great. the angle of the shot of this glacier with the mountainous view is great. the capture of the light is great. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. the image is balanced and eye appealing to the viewer. good eye and great job overall.

Got none of those in Britain! It looks quite amazing in your fine and traditional composition. Your glacier looks very rugged as do the mountains behind it. Exposure and sharpness are good. Well taken!

Now this is what Alaska would look like to me. It makes me cold but this I would imagine would be something to see in real life. I knew it would not be to long before I would start to see those photos once again. I like the way the layers are on top of one another and it makes your eyes go to the top and check things out. To me this would look really great in a office building or make a conversion piece in a den. I love to see those photos from Alaska. Keep up the great work as usual and thanks for sharing. The white and the blue go together really well. Jack

Such an interesting place and your composition is great with the layers of sky mountain peaks - glacier and water in foreground. White balance and exposure are handled well.

A superb shot of the glacier, what a stunning view you had to be up, close and personal to such beauty.I am a big fan of the Natural development of Glaciers, one of my favourites being the Valley Blanche in the French Alps, the Glacier that runs down from Mont Blanc, one where I had to be rescued from by Helicopter back in 2010.You have presented this Glacier in a well structured Landscape format with glorious detail.I envy you having such wonderful nature so close to you.

Thank you so very much Neil! I am honored by your six star rating! These glaciers can be deadly, I am glad you were not harmed and were rescued!

And it's good that I had my gopro too to catch the rescue

It is and I?m sure it?s an experience you will never forget! We recently had someone fall into a crevice at another glacier here and fortunately they were also rescued!

Can they name just one glacier
In my honour...lol!

Well, this is a colossal thick deposit of ice wrapping the mountain range!

It looks "unmeltable" for a long time!

The chilly appearance is palpable...

Breathtaking vista!

Pin sharp focusing.
Dramatic lighting.
Powerful framing.

Diminishing perspective gives a better depth.... From the foreground massive rock to that gloomy skyline...

Thanks for sharing...
