It always astounds me what excellent perspective and detail you archive with your sophisticated pointillism technique. It is apparent that spring has arrived at the Tundra and wild flowers grow in abundance. The small size of the lonely Moose amplifies the grand size of the Tundra where the horizon is indefinite. The colors and composition of your artwork are visually appealing.

Really cool take on pointillism. I appreciate the time you took to make this, and it turned out great. I like the abstract elements that create the landscape, and the variety of color that takes an ordinary landscape and gives it that vibrant and interesting atmosphere.

Andre,
it's done on a 5 x 7 inch canvas board.
pointillism is a time consuming technique, but for me the end result is always appealing and worth the effort. I have to agree with you, it is very colorful and vibrant, in how it comes across.
thank you for having looked and then leaving me your review it is appreciated .

Hey there Lucien!
It must take some time to render these pointillism paintings. Each point can be focused on and each one combined makes a nice image. Thanks for the share.

This is a very different type of art Lucien, it has definitely got that abstract feel about it, in fact my original thoughts were to much so and I was only going to give 4 stars.
But I have ben looking at this for sometime now and have come to the conclusion that it has been well done but it was not instantly obvious because how busy it looked, but by viewing it away from the monitor you begin to see all the contours of the tundra then you see all the spring flowers over it, the horse was self evident, it has that Turner master painter look about it, One this still bothers me though is does it need that horse in it but I have accepted it now, so that's my review of this piece!

Nice colourful composition, the palette used is gorgeous with the various colours contrasting well together throughout the piece. The only issue for me is the animal that just does not go for some reason and it may be because of the size, the tilted angle and undoubtedly the position within the canvas..it would have been better positioned over to the left and centre to allow perception of movement.

I really like the colors and shading you used for the tundra. I'm glad you said it was a moose because I couldn't tell. I thought it was a deer. I think the background is too dark in horn area and there needs to be more of the flat horn area to make it look like a moose. Otherwise this is a very nice piece. I like your artwork very much. ;-)

We're effective technique used for this art piece. The way the field is changing colors and smoothly transitions fro, on color to another is beautifully done. The Moose is nice interruption. Great composition and overall presentation,Lucien!

A very interesting looking painting. Yes. I have seen your ealier posting too of the genre. When viewed in person the texture and the tonal variations would be looking exciting. Good luck!
