Making paintings just from the imagination is the best, in my opinion. I would see this more as a ocean waves with white tops- it is a landscape one way or the other. Beautiful and very well done Lucien!

Great job with this painting. I like the cool colors and depth. The highlights are meticulously applied with a nice touch of shading in the right places.

Looks like a pretty good looking landscape painting posted here! At first, silly me, thought I saw glaciers in the distance!! Now having got used to it and having read your useful notes I can appreciate your paining properly. It reminds me of many scenes that I saw in Britain during my hill walking days. Nicely created!

The tranquility of the of the landscape is intriguing. The view through the mist of the burned of dew diffuses the horizon and give it an atmosphere of eternity. The colors are pleasant to the eyes. This is an artwork to look at and overcome tiredness and anxieties the hassles of current times the reviewer experiences.

A lovely panoramic landscape,I like how fog appears to be lifting up into the sky with the higher, snow capped peaks gleaming in the early morning sun, while the lower part of the mountain range is still shrouded by night. This image is well composed with an excellent sense of depth.A beautiful painting, wish my internet wasn't down so I could see it on my iPad instead of my phone!

On first viewing Lucien I though great, the letterbox format is ideal to show the subject the mountain range, but then after looking again I saw that the clouds were the main subject and the mountains were almost hidden and in turn became secondary, yes the bottom half you can just make out the base of the mountains but then they become almost hidden, you really have to look hard to distinguish the line of the mountains after that, and what's more I feel that this would work better as a semi b/w toned painting because you really only have one main colour, just goes to show that the title in this case is very important what you are trying to say to the viewers, I would have thought that Misty Blue Mountains would have been better of something like that, so on this occasion it does not work for me!

Nicely done! I like the iced and misty mountains fading into the distance. Great perspective, as if, from atop a mountain in the foreground. Beautiful.

Applaud ! a beautiful piece of art work in acrylic. The palette of colours is gorgeous and represents the mountainous landscape perfectly. The panoramic format is a great and I love how the misty clouds have been sensitively painted to allow the mountains to permeate through for the viewer to take in with almost bated breath. This is by far the best landscape painting I have seen on here in this particular acrylic medium..well done..sorry i haven't got any 6 left so you have to accept a virtual one and take a 5,but well done
