Its beautiful. The colors blend so nicely and I love the darker colors. I thought it was a photo at the very first moment. It is excellent work.

Excellent panoramic view; it truly captures the majesty of the mountains and the clouds. The rich colors blend nicely, and the hints of green to very well to accentuate the dominant blues that give this painting a very open and epic atmosphere.

This is beautiful work. Love the technique you have used. Looks like our Blue Ridge Mountains here in NC. Did you use a palette knife? Nice contrast in color, looks three dimensional. Fabulous!

Danrae,
thank you for your time and comments. No palette knife was used, just a brush.
Curious why the reduction in the rating pleased tell me what you find wrong with the painting. The rating indicates it has an issue.
Take care,
cheers.

Back from some time off, trying to get used to the review rating. Meant for this to be a 5. I will try to change. Not one thing I would change, sorry

I don't know where you live, so is this a specific mountain range? This painting looks like a view from across the valley with lower clouds drifting through the snow capped mountains. And it looks like some sun rays are able to come through here and there. I like the darkness you were able to get in the air giving your scene the haze that distance makes. Very nice landscape!

There used to be an ice rink in Blue Jay, near Lake Arrowhead. I skated there as a kid. We lived in Paramount, the Bellflower.
